Tracey Kearney

MA, NCC, LPC, Psychotherapist

Seeking out counseling can be a complicated and tiring process at times, but worth the effort. Thank you for taking the time to consider me as your therapist.

I consider it an honor to walk with people on their personal journey toward growth, hope, and healing. My particular style is relational, trauma informed, culturally sensitive, and psychodynamic (meaning that I hold the past and present together as we work through and examine current issues and explore areas where you may feel stuck and want to make changes). I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space where one can examine past experiences, relational themes and patterns, unpack unresolved trauma, and explore new ways of coping. I integrate evidence-based techniques, cultural humility, and a non-judgmental perspective as I work with people from diverse walks of life.

I am experienced and passionate in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, interpersonal and internal conflict, spiritual formation, marriage and family therapy, chronic stress, addiction, grief, identity development, mood difficulties, court involvement, impacts of society and systems, and life transitions.

I have had the privilege of working with people diverse in culture, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, spirituality, presenting issues, age, and sexual orientation. I treat adults, couples, families, adolescents, and children. I also specialize in trauma, spirituality, and am trained in EMDR.

I aim to create a safe environment where individuals feel the freedom to explore, empowerment to grow, courage to change, and the hope of healing.

Feel free to reach out to me directly.
