Life rarely works out the way we expect it to. Sometimes that is a wonderful thing, and other times that reality can be frustrating and difficult to accept or work through. I believe those frustrations, when left unaddressed, can and often do lead to feelings of depression and/or anxiety, and can also put a strain on relationships that are important to us. I believe therapy should be a safe space to give voice to those frustrations and an opportunity for the client and therapist to work together towards healing.
I aim to create a warm and inviting space that is free from judgment or expectation. I hope to bring a sense of authenticity and curiosity as we commit to discovering your process of healing together. I utilize a client-centered, trauma-informed and integrative approach to therapy in hopes to meet each individual’s unique needs. I also enjoy drawing from my training as a yoga teacher, incorporating holistic practices that acknowledge the mind-body-spirit connection. You are the expert on your life, and I believe therapy works best as a collaborative process between the therapist and the client. My hope is to support you in giving voice to your story and empower you to more fully engage in the life you’re already living. I look forward to meeting you!
