Tori Albarracin
LCPC, PMH-C, Psychotherapist
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
I genuinely believe that the therapeutic space is a sacred, collaborative place where clients and I work together to explore experiences, emotions, internal beliefs, behaviors, and relational patterns. Presence and attunement are central to my style, and I see the therapy relationship as co-created, as well as grounded in safety, connection, and curiosity. I value helping clients discover new ways of understanding themselves and others, creating space for growth and healing.
My clinical background includes extensive training in working with children and adolescents, especially those impacted by complex trauma, sexual abuse, and attachment disruptions. I truly enjoy working with kids and their families and often partner with parents to help them navigate and make sense of their children’s big, baffling behaviors. At the same time, my work has also allowed me to expand my focus, and I enjoy working with adults who are exploring their own histories, identities, relationships, and the impacts of trauma.
I draw from multiple trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Theraplay, and Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART). I also completed a year-long immersion program with Robyn Gobbel, focused on interpersonal neurobiology. My therapeutic lens is relational and rooted in trauma-informed care, with the belief that meaningful change occurs when we experience attunement and connection both within and outside of therapy.
In addition to this clinical work, I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and have a special interest in adoption and parenting. I am also passionate about training and equipping members of the community on topics related to trauma, attachment, and children’s mental health.
I consider it an honor to be invited into the therapeutic space with clients. If you are interested in exploring the possibility of working together, or if you have any questions at all, I would be happy to connect with you!
